Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt, to taste

- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 16 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/2 lb ham, thinly sliced
- Peanut oil or vegetable oil, for frying
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups panko bread crumbs
For the Creamy Dijon Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Preheat a deep pan with 2 inches of oil to 325°F (170°C).
- Pound chicken breasts to an even ½-inch thickness between two sheets of plastic wrap. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Lay two slices of Swiss cheese and two slices of ham on each chicken breast. Roll tightly and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs. Dredge each chicken roll in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry each roll for 5 minutes per side until golden brown. If necessary, transfer to a 325°F oven to finish cooking until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
